Upon the date of completion, or when notified by the applicant of the project’s completion if earlier than the stated date of completion, the city engineer, or his or her designee, shall make an inspection to determine if city facilities or properties have been restored without damage. If the city engineer or his or her designee determines that the project has not been satisfactorily completed, then the applicant will be given written instructions describing the work which needs completion. Additionally, depending on the nature and scope of the work performed under the permit, the city engineer may require that a set of engineer certified “as-built” plans be submitted when work is accepted by the city.
