A.
Notice of resignation. An employee who desires to terminate shall give at least two weeks' written notice to his or her immediate supervisor. The period of notice may be reduced or waived by the director upon recommendation of the agency head. A notice of resignation shall become part of the personnel file.

Withdrawal of resignation. An employee may withdraw his or her resignation only prior to the effective date stated in the applicable notice of resignation with the written approval of the director and the agency head.
C.
Failure to give adequate notice. Failure to give adequate notice shall be noted on the employee's separation documents and shall preclude preferential consideration for future employment.
D.
Termination date. The termination date is the day following the last day the employee is considered an active employee for employment purposes.
