Chapter 184 of Session Laws of 1951 is codified under Chapter 41.48 RCW.
The city of Marysville by its mayor is hereby authorized to enter into and execute an agreement with the governor of the state of Washington or his delegated authority, to provide for the participation of the city of Marysville in the federal old age and survivors insurance program of the Federal Social Securities Act in accordance with said federal act and Chapter 184, Laws of 1951 of the state of Washington, for the purpose of providing coverage under said federal program for all employees of the city of Marysville.

The clerk of the city of Marysville is authorized and directed to withhold from the salaries and wages due or to become due the employees of the city of Marysville the proper contribution required of the employees in accordance with the schedules of contribution of said federal act, regulations pertaining thereto, and such regulations as the governor of the state of Washington or his delegated authority shall issue.

The treasurer shall pay from the funds of the city of Marysville the proper contribution of the city as related to the salaries and wages of its employees in accordance with the schedules of contribution of said federal act, regulations pertaining thereto, and such regulations as the governor of the state of Washington or his delegated authority shall issue, and such other expenses of administration as are necessary and determined by the governor of the state of Washington or his designated authority.
