(A) 
The City Attorney and City Clerk are each individually authorized to correct scrivener's errors in the City Code and in ordinances, resolutions and minutes adopted by the City Council without the need for further action by the City Council.
(B) 
For purposes of this section, a scrivener's error means a clerical error, including, but not limited to, one or more of the following types of errors:
(1) 
Misspellings.
(2) 
Grammatical errors.
(3) 
Numbering errors.
(4) 
Cross-referencing errors.
(5) 
Inconsistencies with style used for the City Code.
(C) 
A correction made under this chapter shall be accompanied by a correction notice on or attached to the corrected ordinance, resolution, or minutes. A written report of any such corrections shall be provided annually at a regular meeting of the City Council.
