Agency: Pierce County fire protection district 17 is hereby designated as the hazardous materials incident command agency to operate within the boundaries of the city.

Representative: The chief of Pierce County fire protection district 17, or in the absence of the chief, the officer in charge of the responding personnel and equipment that responds to a hazardous materials incident, is hereby designated as the "representative" of the city as that term is defined in Revised Code of Washington 70.136.020(8).
