City of Pomeroy, WA Chapter 2.16 POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

§ 2.16.010 Adoption of state system.

The civil service system set forth in RCW 41.12.070 is adopted by the city, and all of the details and provisions of RCW 41.12 are made a part of this chapter as full as if incorporated herein.

§ 2.16.020 Appointment.

There is created pursuant to RCW 41.12.070 a civil service commission for the police department, which commission shall be composed of three members and appointed by the mayor. The members of such commission shall hold office as provided in RCW 41.12.030, and shall have and exercise all powers and duties prescribed by RCW 41.12.
