The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
A. 
All no-parking areas shall be and are hereby declared tow-away zones. Vehicles illegally parked may be towed. All towing charges shall be solely the responsibility of the owner or operator of the motor vehicle and shall be in addition to any fines or other penalties.[1]

B. 
Violations. Any person violating this section shall be guilty of a violation and shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $50 for the first violation and $100 for the second violation within six months.[2]

A. 
Whenever a snow emergency is declared by a duly designated Village officer, alternate side of the street parking shall be in effect for the duration of the emergency and shall commence at the time the declaration is made. On even-numbered days, parking is permitted only on the even­ numbered side of the street. On odd-numbered days parking is only permitted on the odd-numbered side of the street. For Brick Row residents, on odd numbered days parking is permitted on the east side of the street; on even numbered days, parking is available on the west side of the street. A restricted day runs from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day.
B. 
Alternate side parking will remain in effect until snow is removed from the street.
