There is created a solid waste utility fund into which shall be placed all appropriations to the solid waste utility and any and all revenues received from charges for services rendered or sale of products of the solid waste utility.

The solid waste utility fund shall be used to pay all obligations of the solid waste utility for salaries, supplies, services and equipment, and the maintenance and repair of the solid waste operations of the city.
