A.
Every act prohibited by Charter or this Code is unlawful. Unless another criminal penalty is expressly provided by this Code for any particular provision or section, every person convicted of a violation of any provision of the Charter or this Code, or any rule or regulation adopted or issued in pursuance thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $2,000.00 or by imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each act of violation and every day upon which any such violation shall occur shall constitute a separate offense.
B.
In addition to any other remedy or penalty provided by this Code, any person who violates any provision of the Charter or this Code or any rule, regulation, permit, variance, code of technical regulation or order issued or adopted pursuant to the Charter or this Code shall be subject to a civil penalty as set forth in section 14.60.030, or, if such violation is not separately listed in the fine schedule set forth in section 14.60.030, a civil penalty of not less than $50.00 and not more than $1,000.00 for each offense or injunctive relief to restrain the person from continuing the violation or threat of violation or both injunctive relief and a civil penalty. Upon application for injunctive relief and a finding that a person is violating or threatening to violate any provision of the Charter or this Code or any rule, regulation, permit, variance, code of technical regulation or order issued or adopted pursuant to the Charter or this Code, the superior court shall grant injunctive relief to restrain the violation.
C.
Each day of violation of any provision of the Charter or this Code or any rule, regulation, permit, variance, code of technical regulation or order issued or adopted pursuant to the Charter or this Code shall constitute a separate offense.
D.
The penalties provided by this section shall, unless another penalty is expressly provided, apply to the amendment of any section of the Charter or this Code, whether or not such penalty is reenacted in the amendatory ordinance.
