Portions of county road rights-of-way may be designated as "no parking zones" on both sides of the road by the Board of Commissioners after public hearing and to be set forth in a No Parking Zone List on file with the County Engineer. Such no parking zones on such roadways shall become effective when the county road or portion thereof has been signed in accordance with CCC § 11.32.020.

The Department of Public Works shall erect appropriate signs for no parking zones in accordance with the "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways" as adopted and amended by the Washington State Department of Transportation.

It is unlawful for any person to park a motor vehicle within any no parking zone designated in this chapter. Violations of this chapter are traffic infractions, and shall be processed in accordance with the Infraction Rules for Courts of Limited Jurisdiction, as now or hereafter amended. Fines imposed for violations of this chapter shall not exceed $30.00 per violation.
