The "Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction," issued by the Washington State Department of Transportation, is hereby adopted by reference, and the most current edition shall be utilized in establishing, laying out, constructing, altering, repair, improvement, and maintenance of roadways, bridges, sewer and water distribution systems, drainage facilities and other related work, which shall apply to unincorporated Cowlitz County except where separate standards have been adopted by interlocal agreement. The specifications shall be on file at the Cowlitz County Department of Public Works for purposes of implementation and public inspection.

Chapter 12.21 CCC and the "Cowlitz County Road and Street Design Standards," issued by the Cowlitz County Department of Public Works, are hereby adopted by reference, and the most current edition shall be utilized in establishing, laying out, constructing, altering, repair, improvement, maintenance and franchising of county rights-of-way, roadways, bridges and other related works thereupon by public and private parties, which shall apply to unincorporated Cowlitz County except where separate development standards have been adopted by interlocal agreement. The standards shall be on file at the Cowlitz County Department of Public Works for purposes of implementation and public inspection.
