The county treasurer is directed to establish the Kitsap County prosecuting attorney’s victim/witness fund to be used exclusively for the administration of a victim/witness program by the Kitsap County prosecuting attorney and that the funds shall supplement and shall not supplant any existing funds for the prosecuting attorney.

The prosecuting attorney shall submit an appropriate budget for the funds and the expenditure of the fund shall be subject to the adoption of the budget and approval of the victim/witness program by the Department of Labor and Industries.
