From and after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter the official name for all streets, avenues, lanes, and thoroughfares within the corporate limits of the town of Twisp shall be and are hereby established as shown and set forth upon that certain map on file in the office of the town clerk-treasurer designated as "Official Street Name Map, Town of Twisp."

From and after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter all properties, lots, tracts, or other subdivision of property shall be and are hereby assigned the "street number" as shown on that certain map on file in the office of the town clerk-treasurer designated as "Official Street Name – Number Map – Town of Twisp."

The principal improvement, structure, building, or residence located upon each lot, tract, property, or other subdivision shall place at or in proximity to the front entrance of the property, the property number as assigned and designated for such property upon the map referred to in TMC § 12.15.020. Such numbers shall be not less than two inches in height, may be painted or of metal numerals, and shall be of such size and placement as to be clearly visible from the street, avenue, lane or thoroughfare upon which the front entrance of the numbered building, structure or improvement faces.

The maps mentioned in TMC § 12.15.010, § 12.15.020 and § 12.15.030 are hereby designated, established and adopted by the town of Twisp, shall be known as the "Town of Twisp – Official Street Name," "Town of Twisp – Official Street Number Map," which language appears on the face of each of said maps, together with the following: "Adopted by Ordinance No. 229, passed and approved July 25, 1978," and said maps shall bear the signatures of the mayor and clerk-treasurer of the town of Twisp. Said maps are by this reference thereto incorporated herein and made a part hereof the same as if herein set forth in full.
