Failure to perform any act or the performance of any act prohibited by this chapter or any other local ordinance relating to parking, including standing, stopping and pedestrian offenses, is designated as traffic infraction and is defined by Chapter 46.63 RCW and shall be regulated thereby; provided further, that the person found to have committed a traffic infraction under this chapter shall be assessed a monetary penalty of not more than $250.00.
