Any person, firm or corporation that shall fail to comply with or violate any of the provisions of this title shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $500.00 or by imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day in violation of this title shall be considered a separate offense.
