A. 
The fire hazard severity zone maps, as provided by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, are hereby incorporated by reference and entitled "City of Rio Vista Fire Hazard Severity Zones."[1]

B. 
The city shall implement all necessary regulations, including, but not limited to, building codes, land-use planning requirements, and defensible space standards, to mitigate fire risks in designated high and very high fire hazard severity zones and shall be used for planning and regulatory purposes. These maps are on file with the city clerk's office and are available for public inspection.
C. 
The city shall transmit a copy of the ordinance codified in this chapter and the adopted fire hazard severity zone maps to the State Board of Forestry and Fire Protection within 30 days of adoption, as required by Government Code Section 51179.
