Fees shall be established to compensate the department for file establishment and ongoing inspection of activities, operations and locations subject to the provisions of the Uniform Fire Code as adopted by Chapter 15.10 KMC.
A. 
The initial fee shall compensate for the first inspection, file establishment and permit review. Initial fees shall be payable upon permit issuance.
B. 
Renewal fees are for subsequent annual inspections and permit file maintenance. Renewal fees are payable upon inspection.

The following Uniform Fire Code permit fees shall be imposed by the City by resolution:
A. 
A general use permit shall be required for any activity, operation or location not specifically described below which in the judgment of the city fire marshal is likely to produce conditions hazardous to life or property; provided, that no permit or fee shall be required for the use of candles in ceremonies by nonprofit organizations.
