(a)
It is unlawful for any person to point or shoot any rifle, pistol, shotgun, air gun, bow and arrow, or crossbow, or any instrument of similar character at any person or property of another or hunt within the city limits.
(b)
Any person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, in addition to any other punishment imposed by the court, the court may direct that the weapon so used in violation of the provisions hereof be confiscated and destroyed.
(c)
This prohibition does not apply to the discharge of firearms by law enforcement officers engaged in the performance of their official powers or duties.
