A. 
Intent. It is the intent of the General Industrial (I-1) District to promote the following:
(1) 
To cluster industrial development in selected locations.
(2) 
To provide sites for heavy and light industry.
(3) 
To minimize the hazards and nuisances resulting from the operation of industries.
(4) 
To provide adequate buffers between different classes of industrial uses.
B. 
District regulations. Only the uses listed in Criteria and Standards for the General Industrial (I-1) District[1] shall be permitted in the General Industrial (I-1) District. All uses must conform to the lot, yard setback, and maximum height regulations stipulated therein, as well as other applicable requirements of this chapter.
