A. 
No persons shall erect or maintain stands or showcases or display or sell merchandise on or from the sidewalks of this City, or place any article, substance or thing upon the sidewalks in any manner so as to encumber them.
B. 
No person shall offer or display for sale or sell any goods, wares or merchandise from any store premises fronting on any street or avenue in the City in such a manner as to encumber the sidewalk in front of the store premises.
C. 
At no time may any person obstruct any public sidewalk, alley, street, avenue, boulevard, road, or other right-of-way within the City for the purpose of utilizing any fireworks and/or sparkling devices and novelties as defined in N.J.S.A. 21:2-2 thereupon.
D. 
A-type signs, sidewalk signs, curb signs and similar advertising devices are explicitly prohibited on the sidewalks.
E. 
No sign shall be placed in such a position that it causes or is likely to cause danger to vehicular or pedestrian traffic on any street, sidewalk or right-of-way. No sign other than an official sign may be placed within the right-of-way of any street within the City. However, overhanging signs shall be permitted to extend from the building into the right-of-way in accordance with the provisions of this code.
