A. 
The office of Borough Treasurer shall be filled by the individual holding the position of Assistant Borough Manager. Said individual will be appointed through individual resolution by Borough Council upon hire.
B. 
In the absence of the position of Assistant Borough Manager or elimination of said position, the Borough Manager, who also assumes the role of Borough Secretary, shall fill the position of the Borough Treasurer under the terms of Section 1106 of Borough Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The same individual may hold the office of the Borough Treasurer and Borough Secretary simultaneously when and until the Borough Council enacts other legislation contrary hereto.
