It is unlawful for any person to possess a firearm in any stadium or convention center operated by the city, school district or other municipality. This section shall not apply to:
A. 
Any firearm in the possession of a person licensed under RCW 9.41.070;
B. 
Any showing, demonstration or lecture involving the exhibition of firearms; or
C. 
Law enforcement or military personnel or security personnel while engaged in official duties.

Violation of this chapter is declared to be a gross misdemeanor and is subject to punishment by a fine of up to five thousand dollars and by imprisonment for a period of up to one year in jail.
