There is hereby established the office of community services director.

The office of community services director shall be filled by appointment of the mayor and confirmed by a majority of the city council.

The community services director shall be responsible for overseeing the city's youth and senior programs, fundraising for said programs, and organizing special events.

The community services director shall receive such salary and benefits as the city council may establish in the annual budget or as may be established by contractual agreement.
