The OS/PI district is intended to allow for civic uses as well as those areas of the city owned by the city of Pacific and deemed environmentally critical areas.

In the OS/PI district the following buildings and uses are permitted, subject to the general provisions and exceptions set forth in this chapter, and regulations set forth in Chapters 20.01, 20.08 through 20.20, 20.68 and 20.72 PMC:
A. 
Administrative government facilities and services;
B. 
Day-care centers;
C. 
Community and cultural services;
D. 
Educational facilities;
E. 
Health services;
F. 
Postal services;
G. 
Public safety services;
H. 
Recreation, nonprofit;
I. 
Religious assembly;
J. 
Transportation;
K. 
Communication or cellular facilities;
L. 
Water supply facilities;
M. 
Utility or public maintenance facilities;
N. 
Pipelines;
O. 
Sewage collection facilities; and
P. 
Stormwater facilities.

The city may grant a conditional use permit (CUP) for the following buildings and uses in accordance with the procedures set forth in Chapter 20.20 PMC:
A. 
Electrical facilities;
B. 
Electrical generation facilities;
C. 
Natural gas facilities;
D. 
Organic waste processing facilities;
E. 
Sewage treatment facilities;
F. 
Waste disposal facilities; and
G. 
Waste transfer facilities;
H. 
Any other buildings or uses determined to be similar to those listed in PMC § 20.65.020. Such other uses shall not have any different or more detrimental effect upon the adjoining neighborhood areas or landscape than the specifically permitted buildings and uses.

Signs, advertising structures, and area illumination are permitted, subject to Chapter 20.84 PMC, Sign Code.

All uses shall conform to the general provisions and exceptions set forth in Chapter 20.72 PMC, Parking and Loading.
