There shall be a Department of Finance in accordance with Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1993, as amended by Chapter 29 of the Acts of 2004. The Department shall be responsible for the overall management and administration of the Town's financial and administrative support services. The Department consists of the following divisions:

A.
The Payroll Division and Payroll Director shall be responsible for the payroll related duties set forth in said Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1993, as amended, including the following: The Payroll Director shall appoint and may remove all personnel within the Payroll Division of the Department of Finance, subject to the approval of the Finance Director. The Payroll Division shall be responsible for the preparation of all payrolls. The Payroll Director shall be responsible for the processing and recording of all departmental payrolls, subject to the oversight and approval of the Finance Director.
