Unless otherwise specified in a specific section of this Code, all licenses issued by the Township shall be for a period of one year, from June 1 to May 31.
A. 
Exceptions: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 4:19-15.8(b), annual licenses for kennels, pet shops, shelters, and pounds shall be for a period of one year, from June 30 to June 29.
Any person who fails to make application for a renewal of any license, with the exception of the dog license required in Chapter 97, Animals, Article I, Dogs, shall be subject to the fees set forth in Chapter 172, Fees.

Any person who, without a valid license, engages in any activity in the Township which is required to be licensed or registered shall be subject to the penalties set forth in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, General Penalty.
