Town of Concrete, WA Chapter 2.40 WASHINGTON PUBLIC EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT SYSTEM

§ 2.40.010 Authorization of Washington Public Employees’ Retirement System.

The town of Concrete does authorize and approve the membership and participation of its eligible employees in the Washington Public Employees’ Retirement System pursuant to RCW 41.40.410, and authorizes the expenditure of the necessary funds to cover its proportionate share for participation in said system.

§ 2.40.020 Evidence of approval submitted.

The clerk is hereby directed to transmit a certified copy of the ordinance codified in this chapter to the retirement board of the said system as evidence of such authorization and approval.

§ 2.40.030 Participation date.

Participation membership in the Washington Public Employees’ Retirement System shall commence August 1, 1974.
