The Town Board does hereby establish a Recreation
Commission vested with the authority to establish, equip, operate,
and maintain playground and community programs and facilities.

A. Such Commission
shall consist of seven members who are residents of the municipality,
to be appointed by the Town Board as provided by law.
B. The Town
Board shall hereby have the authority to further amend the total membership
number of the Recreation Commission by resolution.
Said members shall serve without pay, shall
elect from their own number a Chairperson and Secretary and other
necessary officers to serve for one year, and shall adopt rules of
procedure for the conduct of all business within its jurisdiction.
Said Recreation Commission may accept any grant
or devise of real estate or any gift or bequest of money or other
personal property or any donation to be applied principal or income
for either temporary or permanent use for playground or recreation
purposes, but if the use thereof for such purposes will subject the
Town to expense for improvement, maintenance, or renewal, the use
of any grant, or devise of real estate shall be approved by the Town
Board. The Treasurer of the Town shall deposit any money received
for such purpose to a Recreation Commission account, and such money
may be withdrawn and paid out in the same manner as money appropriated
for recreation purposes.
