This article shall be known as "Parking Prohibitions During Certain Hours and Dates."
It is the general purpose and intent of this article to establish a policy for the parking of motor vehicles during the season in which there is a possibility of snow accumulation upon the public highways of the Town of Fort Edward and that said Local Law is needed to protect the public health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the Town of Fort Edward.
This article is enacted pursuant to § 10 of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York and § 130 of the Town Law of the State of New York.
No person shall park a motor vehicle, wagon or trailer between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on any public highway within the Town of Fort Edward from the 15th day of November until the 15th day of April.
