[Adopted 8-7-1996 by L.L. No. 5-1996]
The Town of New Hartford Police Department is
an available police agency for the purposes of fingerprinting for
residents and out-of-town residents, when requested, for civil purposes.
Such fingerprinting is often a requirement for
many insurance companies and State of New York agencies, and the Town
of New Hartford Police Department is available to meet such requirements.
There is an expense attached to fingerprinting
procedures such as utilization of town personnel and materials, and
consequently, is an expense upon the taxpayers of the Town of New
Hartford.
[Amended 10-10-2018 by L.L. No. 9-2018]
A. The cost for fingerprinting for each Town of New Hartford resident
applicant is $25.
B. The cost for fingerprinting for each out-of-Town resident applicant
is $50.
