Town of Beekman, NY Article II Vehicle Use

§ 121-5 Definitions.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

MOTOR VEHICLE

A vehicle as so defined under the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.

TOWN RECREATION AREA

The parcel of land, including the drives, ways, roads and parking areas thereon, located along Recreation Road in the Town of Beekman, New York.

UNREGISTERED

A vehicle not properly registered pursuant to the laws of the State of New York.

§ 121-6 Prohibited uses.

A. It shall be unlawful to drive an unregistered motor vehicle within the Town Recreation Area of the Town of Beekman.

B. It shall be unlawful to drive any motor vehicle off the regularly traveled ways or parking areas within the Town Recreation Area.

§ 121-7 Penalties for offenses.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this article shall be guilty of a violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable for each offense by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
