As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
CRAFT
Includes any type of craft or any type of vessel propelled in any manner upon water, other than by hand, including but not limited to propulsion by gasoline, electric or steam.
No craft shall be operated with a motor, the size of which is in excess of five horsepower, on any water or waterway situated within the Town of Beekman.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable for each offense by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
