[HISTORY: Adopted by the City Council of the City of Long Branch 4-25-1989 by Ord. No. 104-89 (Sec. 14-10 of the 1971 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:49-5.1, the regulations for maintenance of hotels and multiple dwellings, N.J.A.C. 5:10-1.1 et seq., is hereby adopted as a standard governing the maintenance of hotels and multiple dwellings in the interest of public safety, health and welfare within the City of Long Branch. A copy of the aforesaid regulations is attached to and made a part of this chapter without the text being included therein.
To the extent that it does not conflict with the provisions of the Regulations for the Construction and Maintenance of Hotels and Multiple Dwellings, any violation of this chapter shall result in penalties as follows: Any person, firm or corporation found guilty in the Municipal Court of the City of Long Branch of a violation of the terms of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I. Except as otherwise provided, each and every day in which a violation of any provision of this chapter exists shall constitute a separate violation. In addition, each violation of this chapter shall be considered a separate offense upon each and every day in which a violation exists.
