The Board of Trustees does hereby find that development of property
within the Village has utilized most of the open land and space and
that, to the extent practicable, it is desirable aesthetically to
set aside certain lands within the Village as parklands.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
PERSON
Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation,
company or organization of any kind.
The following described property designated on the Nassau County
Land and Tax Map as Section 19, Block 40, Lot 9, shall be and the
same is designated as parklands of the Village of East Hills:
A. All that certain plot, piece or parcel of land situated, lying and
being in the Incorporated Village of East Hills, Towns of North Hempstead
and Oyster Bay, County of Nassau and State of New York, bounded and
described as follows:
(1) Beginning at a point on the northeasterly side of Tara Drive (50
feet wide) distant the following two courses and distances from the
northeasterly end of the arc which connects the easterly side of Flamingo
Road with the northerly side of Tara Drive:
(a)
North 70° 01 30 east as measured along the northerly side
of Tara Drive 73.13 feet;
(b)
Northeasterly and southeasterly along the arc of a curve bearing
to the right, having a radius of 200 feet, a distance along the arc
of said curve of 129.62 feet as measured along the northerly and northeasterly
side of Tara Drive to the true point or place of beginning.
(2) Running thence north 19° 58 30 west 242.83 feet to the southerly
line of a Nassau County drainage easement right-of-way; thence north
46° 00 50 east along the southerly line of a Nassau County Drainage
easement right-of-way 451.380 feet; thence south 4° 51 50 east
183.43 feet; thence south 29° 11 west 434.64 feet to the northeasterly
side of Tara Drive; thence northwesterly along the northeasterly side
of Tara Drive along the arc of a curve bearing to the left, having
a radius of 200 feet, a distance along the arc of said curve of 50
feet to the point or place of beginning.
B. Additional
parkland:

(1) All property in and around the Village Hall located on Town Path
Road owned by the Village, including the property behind the garage
located in the Village Hall Complex on Town Path Road.
(4) Mall on Glen Cove Road at intersection of Harbor Hill Road.

The following provisions with regard to picnicking, injuring
public property, interfering with, taking and using public property
and depositing glass, nails or other destructive matter and placing
any add, sign, display or other graphic shall apply specifically with
regard to the above-described property.

It shall be unlawful for any person to picnic within the limits
of any public highway or street or upon any Village property within
the Village without the prior written consent of the Village Board
of Trustees.

No person shall cut, break, mark, injure, destroy or molest
any tree, shrub, grass plot, wall, fence, guardrail, post, pole, culvert,
drain, bulletin board, public notice, street sign or light in or upon
any street, park or other public place in the Village or any other
property belonging to the Village or under its control or in its possession.

No person shall interfere with, take or use any of the property
of the Village without first obtaining the consent of the Village.

No person shall place, drop, throw or leave any glass, nails
or other destructive matter in or from any street, park or public
place in the Village.
The provisions of Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
III, with respect to any act which is prohibited and made and declared to be unlawful, shall apply to the premises above described.
