The Town Comptroller, as may be appointed for
the Town of Poughkeepsie, need not be an elector of the Town of Poughkeepsie.
The Comptroller shall have all other qualifications for holding office
as provided in § 3 of the Public Officers Law.
The Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Poughkeepsie,
as may be appointed for the Town of Poughkeepsie, need not be an elector
of the Town of Poughkeepsie, New York. The Deputy Town Attorney shall
have all other qualifications for holding office as provided in § 3
of the Public Officers Law.

The Building Inspector, Deputy Inspector or
Inspectors, Fire Inspector and Plumbing Inspector, as may be appointed
for the Town of Poughkeepsie by the Town Board of the Town of Poughkeepsie,
need not be electors of the Town of Poughkeepsie. The Building Inspector,
Deputy Building Inspector, Fire Inspector and Plumbing Inspector shall
have all other qualifications for holding office as provided in § 3
of the Public Officers Law or any other applicable law. This section
shall also apply to any title, position, person or officer acting
as the department head for the Building Department of the Town of
Poughkeepsie.
