The purpose of this chapter is to provide that
the provisions of Article 19-A of the General Municipal
Law shall be applicable to the establishment or extension of business
improvement districts in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
The provisions of Article 19-A of the General
Municipal Law of the State of New York are hereby made applicable
to the establishment or extension of business improvement districts
within the Town of Poughkeepsie.
