It shall be unlawful for any person or organization
to place or put any object or things in or upon any ditch, drain,
culvert or public right-of-way which substantially interferes with
the drainage of water or snowplowing along any public way within the
Town of Standish.
A.Â
Any person or organization which does so shall be
directed by the Road Commissioner to remove the same or correct the
interference within 48 hours. Upon failure to do so, the person or
organization responsible shall be subject to a fine of $25 per day
for each day the violation continues and be liable for the cost of
removal or correction by the Town of Standish.
B.Â
Any fines assessed shall inure to the benefit of the
Town of Standish.
