As used herein, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
An aisle or area shown as such on a map, plat or site plan duly approved by the Planning Board, designed as such for the unobstructed passage of firefighting and other emergency vehicles, such as police cars and ambulances, and shall also include any aisle, way, path, alley, lane, road or other area designated as such by the Town Board by local law, whether or not the same is designated on a map plat or site plan and whether or not the same is owned or maintained privately or by the Town of Monroe.

The duly appointed Fire Marshal of the Town of Monroe, appointed pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the Town of Monroe.
An area shown as such on a map, plat or site plan duly approved by the Planning Board of the Town of Monroe intended to be free of parked or standing vehicles at all times, and shall also include any aisle, way, path, alley, lane, road or other area designated as such by the Town Board by local law, whether or not the same is designated on a map plat or site plan and whether or not the same is owned or maintained privately or by the Town of Monroe.

Any subdivision map or site plan approved by the Planning Board pursuant to the authority contained in Article 16 of the Town Law and/or resolutions of the Town Board of the Town of Monroe adopted on September 5, 1947, November 7, 1947, December 6, 1957, July 3, 1959, and October 9, 1968, and Local Law No. 2 of 1965 and Local Law No. 3 of 1976, commonly known as the "Zoning Law of the Town of Monroe."[1]
The act of parking a vehicle, standing a vehicle or placing an obstruction in a fire zone or fire lane.
Every inert object or structure or thing of any dimension or size other than a vehicle.
The standing of a vehicle, whether or not occupied, otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise or passengers.
Any person, firm, corporation, association or legal representative acting individually or jointly.
The duly appointed Planning Board of the Town of Monroe.
The stopping of a vehicle, whether or not occupied, otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in receiving or discharging passengers.
The duly elected or appointed Town of Monroe Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Monroe or his Deputy.
Every device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, except devices moved by human power or used exclusively upon stationary rails or trucks.
