Pursuant to § 150.20 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the
State of New York, the following Village officials and employees are specifically
authorized to issue appearance tickets for violations of the Code of the Village
of Scarsdale and certain other violations, including violations of the Property
Maintenance Code of the State of New York:
A.
The Village Manager; Deputy Manager.
B.
The Fire Department: the Fire Chief, the Fire Captains,
the Fire Inspector and two fire fighters.
C.
The Police Department: police aides, parking enforcement
officers and the Dog Warden. These officers are also authorized to issue appearance
tickets for auto registration and inspection violations under the Vehicle
and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
D.
The Public Works Department: the Highway Foreman, the
Assistant Highway Foreman, the Sanitation Foreman, the Assistant Sanitation
Foreman, the Superintendent of the Water Department, the Water Foremen and
the Superintendent of Public Works.
E.
Engineering and Building: the Village Engineer, the Junior
Civil Engineer, the engineering aide, the Building Inspector, the Assistant
Building Inspector and code enforcement officers.
F.
Recreation: the Superintendent of Recreation and the
Parks Foreman.
G.
Temporary summer code enforcement officers.
