Subject to the provisions of §
290-4 of Chapter
290, Vehicles and Traffic, the powers of the Board of Trustees to designate sidewalks on streets and public places in the village on which persons shall be permitted to ride bicycles are hereby delegated to the Village Manager.
No person shall ride a bicycle upon any sidewalk in the village except such sidewalks as shall be designated as sidewalks on which bicycles are permitted in §
121-3 below.
The following sidewalks on streets and public places in the village on which persons shall be permitted to ride bicycles are hereby designated pursuant to §
121-1 and may be amended by, added to or revoked by the Village Manager:
A. All sidewalks on streets and public places except those
sidewalks on streets and public places on Garth Road, Freightway, Depot Plaza,
Popham Road from the Bronx River to Overhill Road, Scarsdale Avenue, East
Parkway, Chase Road, Boniface Circle, Harwood Court, Spencer Place, Christie
Place, Heathcote Road from Palmer Avenue to a point 200 feet easterly therefrom,
Weaver Street from Palmer Avenue to a point 300 feet southerly therefrom,
Wilmot Road from Heathcote Road to a point 200 feet westerly therefrom and
Palmer Avenue from Heathcote Road to a point 200 feet northeasterly therefrom.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter
shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal
Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not exceeding $250.
