The provisions of this document set forth the
Rules and Regulations of the Scarsdale Water Department with respect
to applications for and the provision of water service.
Compliance with these Rules and Regulations
is required of all property owners now receiving water, service from
the village or who may hereafter make application therefor.
A.
In the event of an owner's willful failure to comply
with any provisions of these Rules and Regulations, the Water Department
is authorized to discontinue water service after three business days'
prior notification that the owner fails in such compliance. The Water
Department may discontinue water service until the violation is removed
and all fees and charges are paid, including an additional charge
for the discontinuance and reinstatement of water service.
B.
A person violating any provision of these Rules and
Regulations shall be liable to a penalty as established by the Board
of Trustees, which penalty shall be in addition to such fees and charges
as are provided in these Rules and Regulations.
