This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Administrative Code of the Township of Cheltenham," Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
A. 
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ADMINISTRATIVE
The function of carrying out the policies, ordinances or resolutions of the Board.
ADVISORY
The function of gathering facts and making recommendations to the Board, the Township Manager or as otherwise designated by ordinance, resolution or this code.
BOARD
The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Cheltenham, County of Montgomery, Pennsylvania.
CHARTER
The Home Rule Charter of the Township of Cheltenham, County of Montgomery, Pennsylvania.
LAW
All applicable laws of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
ORDINANCE
All ordinances of the Township.
THIS CODE
This Administrative Code of the Township of Cheltenham, County of Montgomery, Pennsylvania.
TOWNSHIP
The Township of Cheltenham, County of Montgomery, Pennsylvania.
UNIT
All governmental entities of the Township.
B. 
Word usage. In this chapter, the singular shall include the plural, the plural shall include the singular, and the masculine shall include the feminine.
