The speed limit for both directions of traffic along the highways or parts thereof described in Schedule I (§ 145-101) is hereby established at the rate of speed indicated.
Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those highways described in Schedule II (§ 145-102).
No person shall make a right turn (or a left turn from a one-way roadway onto a one-way roadway) on a steady red signal at the locations described in Schedule III (§ 145-103).
The highways or parts of highways described in Schedule IV (§ 145-104) are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated, and it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to drive or operate any vehicle, including motor vehicles, horses, wagons or bicycles, over or upon said highways and portions of highways in the Township in a direction contrary to that indicated.
It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle or tractor make a U-turn on any of the highways or parts thereof as described in Schedule V (§ 145-105).
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all), nor shall any person enter a street or highway posted with a "Do Not Enter" sign, either by turning or by a straight through movement, at any of the intersections described in Schedule VI (§ 145-106).
All vehicular traffic shall keep to the right of the structures or barriers located in the center of the intersections specified in Schedule VII (§ 145-107).
The intersections described in Schedule VIII (§ 145-108) are hereby established as stop intersections, and official stop signs shall be erected in such a position upon the first-named highway as to face traffic approaching the second-named highway, in the direction or directions indicated. All vehicles and tractors approaching any such intersection upon the first-named highway, in the direction or directions indicated in each case, shall come to a full stop within a reasonable distance before entering any such intersection.
The intersections described in Schedule IX (§ 145-109) are hereby established as yield right-of-way intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected in such a position upon the first-named highway as to face traffic approaching the second-named highway in the direction or directions indicated. All vehicles and tractors approaching any such intersection upon the first-named highway, in the direction or directions indicated, shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching on the second-named highway so closely as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time that the operator of such vehicle or tractor is moving across or within such intersection.
The areas on highways described in Schedule X (§ 145-110) are hereby established as no-passing zones, and it shall be unlawful for any person driving a vehicle to pass any other vehicle which is proceeding in the same direction.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle or tractor, except a passenger vehicle (but not including any passenger vehicle drawing any trailer or towing any other vehicle), upon any of the highways or parts of highways described in Schedule XI (§ 145-111); provided, however, that nothing herein shall prohibit the operation of any commercial vehicle or tractor upon any highway or portion thereof listed in said schedule where such operation thereon shall be necessary in order to pick up or deliver any goods, wares, merchandise or material from or to any premises located upon any such highway or portion thereof.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any commercial vehicle or other tractor, trailer or tractor-trailer combination, having a gross weight in excess of that herein respectively prescribed, upon any of the highways or portions thereof described in Schedule XII (§ 145-112), except for the purpose of making local deliveries on that highway.

A. 
Prohibited acts. No gasoline-powered or diesel-powered motor vehicle shall be operated on the following highway within the Township of Lower Merion utilizing, in said operation, an engine brake retarder.
(1) 
City Avenue, west side, between Green Hill Lane and Haverford Road.
B. 
Exemptions. Governmental vehicles and emergency vehicles operating under emergency conditions are exempt from the provisions of this section.
C. 
Signs. Signs shall be posted within the block before the prohibited area begins giving notice that the prohibited area lies ahead, and along every block within the prohibited area giving notice of the prohibition.
D. 
Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon summary conviction before a Magistrate Judge having jurisdiction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $600 for each violation.
