Regulations establishing maximum weight limitations for certain bridges within the Township of Lower Merion are hereby established as described in Schedule XXVI (§ 145-126).
A.
When appropriate, signs giving notice of the maximum weight limitations established pursuant to § 145-77 of this article are posted as provided in Schedule XXVI.
B.
It shall be a violation of this article for any person
to operate a vehicle in excess of the maximum allowable weight over
said posted bridge.
Any person operating a vehicle upon a bridge
in violation of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced
to pay a fine of $150, plus $150 for each 500 pounds or part thereof
in excess of 3,000 pounds over the maximum allowable weight.
