The position of a single Tax Assessor is hereby
created for the Borough of Haddon Heights, who shall receive such
compensation as is provided for in the annual Salary Ordinance.[1]
The Assessor shall be certified pursuant to
the terms of the Assessor Qualification, Certification and Tenure
Act, N.J.S.A. 54:1-35.25 et seq., as it may be amended or supplemented.
The Assessor shall be appointed by the governing
body for a term of four years commencing on July 1. Vacancies other
than due to expiration of term shall be filled by appointment for
the unexpired term.
