Fire prevention and building construction — See Ch. 96.
The Fire District of the Village of Babylon shall consist of:
A. 
All areas now or hereafter located in the following use districts: Residence O Districts, Residence M Districts, Marine Commercial Districts, Retail Business Districts and Industrial Districts.
B. 
All areas now or hereafter located in any use district improved with any building now or hereafter erected thereon used in any manner for public assembly, dwellings for two or more families, nursing homes, convalescent homes and such other purposes in accordance with special permission of the Board of Appeals granted under the provisions of Chapter 365, Zoning, and any amendments thereto.
For the purpose of this chapter, the term "use district'' shall mean all those districts designated in Chapter 365, Zoning, of the Code of the Village of Babylon, and any amendments thereto, and bounded and described in the Building Zone Map of the Village of Babylon and any amendments thereto.
The construction of any new building and the conversion, alteration and modification of and addition to any existing building located in the Fire District shall be controlled by the provisions of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
