All ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Babylon in conflict with or inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed, except that this repeal shall not affect or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for any act done or committed in violation of any ordinance hereby repealed prior to the effective date of this chapter.
The following ordinances or parts of ordinances are hereby specifically repealed:
A. 
Code of Ordinances, Rules and Regulations:
(1) 
Chapter 235: Uniform Code of Traffic Ordinances, Village of Babylon.[1]

Chapter 238: Vehicles, Parking and Abandoning of.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section, article, chapter or part of this chapter or of any local law, ordinance or resolution included in this chapter now or through supplementation shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder thereof but shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, section, article, chapter or part thereof directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
