This article is adopted pursuant to § 10,
Subdivision 1a, of the Municipal Home Rule Law.

The purpose of this article is to change the
term of the elective Highway Superintendent of the Town of Chenango
from the present two-year term to a four-year term.
Effective January 1, 1989, the term of the Highway
Superintendent of the Town of Chenango shall be four years.
