In addition to all other provisions of the Code of the Village
of Round Lake (including any rules promulgated hereunder), minutes
of any regular, special or emergency meeting shall be approved within
62 days thereafter.
Any public notice of a hearing affecting a particular parcel
of real property shall include direct written notice to owners of
such properties send by regular U.S. Mail to the addresses to which
municipal tax bills are to be sent (unless that address be the owner's
mortgagee, in which case the Village Clerk shall use such person's
last known address, if any), which written notice shall give notice
of the date, time and place of the public hearing and the reason for
the hearing (e.g., request for setback variance of 10 feet; request
for subdivision approval; application for Planning Development District
for residential development). Neither failure of the Clerk to send
such notice nor of the owner to receive such notice shall create any
right in such neighbor or any other persons to invalidate the public
hearing or action of the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals or
Village Board following such public hearing.
