A. General parking.
(1) All vehicles must park in designated numbered areas
and between the lines provided in accordance with the approved site
plan.
(2) Overnight parking prohibition. No person shall park
a vehicle within the Park and Ride location overnight between the
hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Saturday, including
holidays.

(3) Parking of vehicles weighing in excess of four tons
prohibited. No person shall park a vehicle in excess of four tons
in the Byram Township Park and Ride.

(5) Commercial activity prohibited. No person shall advertise
or offer for sale goods or merchandise of any kind, engage in any
other commercial activity, or solicit contributions for any cause,
on any portion of the Cranberry Lake Park and Ride Facility. Incidental
"for sale" signs in an otherwise legally parked vehicle shall not
be considered to constitute commercial activity within the general
prohibition contained herein.
(6) Handicapped parking. All stalls shall be 12 feet wide
as shown on the attached site plan and signed with R7-8 and R7-8P
(reserved parking sign and penalty plate), in the designated parking
areas for persons who have been issued handicapped parking permits
by the Division of Motor Vehicles.

B. Restricted to certain traffic. This lot is to be utilized
by motor vehicles and pedestrian traffic only.
C. Speed limits.
(1) The speed limit for traffic in the parking lot shall
be 15 mph.
(2) Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and
maintained to effect the above-designated speed limits authorized
by the Department of Transportation.
D. One-way traffic. Direction of traffic shall be one
way only and flow from north to south.
E. Tow-away. Any vehicle parked or standing as to obstruct
or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways,
loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, private
rights-of-way or which presents in any way a safety or traffic hazard,
may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's or operator's
expense.
F. Bus stop(s). The location described is hereby designated
as a bus stop. No vehicle, other than an omnibus picking up or discharging
passengers, shall be permitted to occupy said location between the
hours indicated:

I. Exempt leased private residential right-of-way and
parking pursuant to DEP Lease No. 09-117-001-71. Two parking stalls
as designated on approved site plan and right-of-way access to the
residence at Block 337 and Lot 2 shall be exempt from these regulations.
J. Uniform traffic control. All sign and traffic control
devices shall conform to the current Manual on Uniform Traffic Control
Devices.
K. Penalty and fines. Unless another penalty is expressly
provided by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation
of this article or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty
of not more than $50 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days,
or both.

A. No vehicle shall be parked in the VB Village Business District (§
240-56), VC Village Center District (§
240-59), NC Neighborhood Commercial District (§
240-57) or IPR Industrial Professional Recreational District (§
240-60) of the Township by its owner or with his/her knowledge for the purpose of offering it for sale or lease except as otherwise permitted as an accessory to an automotive sale, service or repair business on the same lot. This section shall not apply to a registered vehicle owned by the owner or tenant of the property or by a person lawfully doing business on the property.
B. A violation of this section shall be presumed when:
there is a sign, lettering or similar display on or in the vehicle
indicating that it is for sale or lease, including but not limited
to a sign that states "for sale" and/or "for lease," a dollar amount
or asking price, "best offer," telephone number and/or contact information;
and the vehicle is parked on a property that is vacant land or when
the business on the property is closed.
C. Notwithstanding the provisions of §
230-3A, the penalty for violation of this section shall be $200 for the first offense and $500 for a second or subsequent offense or imprisonment for up to 15 days, or both. Each day that a vehicle is parked for sale or lease in violation of this section shall constitute a separate offense.
